“Piper Operation Cobra”: the 75th anniversary of the landing in Jullouville and Granville and a major air rally with the Patrouille de France.

The Piper Operation Cobra event: all the ceremonies and events of the 75th anniversary of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy in the Granville and Jullouville region.

From July 29 to August 4, 2019, attend an exceptional event on the Normandy coast, just 3:30 from Paris, on the occasion of the commemorations of the 75th anniversary of the Allied landing: the «Piper Operation Cobra»

Why Jullouville?

The history of the Normandy landing is also linked to the south coast of Normandy.
Indeed, the commander-in-chief of the Allied landing on June 6, 1944 in Normandy was American General Dwight David Eisenhower. During the Second World War, shortly after the landing in August 1944, he set up his district in Jullouville, more precisely at the Château de la Mare Avenue de Kairon. Today a stele is built in his honor on the roundabout of Liberty in Jullouville les Pins.
The Bay of Mont Saint Michel through its towns and villages will organize parades, military air meetings, reconstitutions of camps… Notably in Carolles, Champeaux, Granville, Saint-Paris sur mer, Saint Jean le Thomas…

Where to sleep or find accommodation during the Piper Operation Cobra demonstration?

The campsite Lez Eaux, in Saint Pair sur mer is perfectly located between Granville and Jullouville, to enjoy the event by being on site.
We offer rentals of chalets, mobile homes and cabins in trees or camping pitches if you are in motorhome, tents or caravans.
You will of course have access to all the events organized on the campsite: market, hiking, free concert and infrastructure such as the water park.
