Lez-Eaux campsite’s guests can buy at the reception their tickets for Mont Saint Michel Abbey.

The Mount Saint Michel is the second tourist site the most visited of France after Paris. Each year, more than 3 million visitors come to discover that stunning village.

The Abbey is an important pilgrimage place which is World Heritage Site of Humanity. The place is a maze of corridors, great common rooms, chapels… over several stages that ends on a splendid esplanade with a view over the sea to the horizon. Monks still lives there.

Buy at the campsite reception the tickets to visit Mont Saint Michel abbey.

You can buy the entrance tickets at the main reception of the campsite Lez Eaux. This gives you the great advantage of taking the cut-and-go entry.

The price is 11€ per person more than 26 yo.

Indeed, the entrance is free for people under 26 and disable people.

Guided visits and audio guides are available (3€).

Opening times of the Abbey.

These opening times are those of the abbey, not of the village of the Mont saint Michel. You can visit Mont saint Michel at any time.

From January the 2nd to April the 1st: 9.30am to 6pm every day

From May the 2nd to DU August the 31st: 9am to 7pm every day.

From September the 1st to December the 31st: 9.30am to 6pm every day.

Access and parking to go to the Monastery of Mont Saint Michel

First you must park at the main parking at the entrance of Mont saint Michel. (14€20 for cars / 17€80 for motorhomes).

Then, either you can walk by the bridge to the entrance of the village or you can use a free shuttle that will drop you there.

Finally, climb the 350 stairs up to reach the entrance!

Be aware that the site is an old historical place that is not adapted for disable people. Lanes are steeped and paved and the steps are numerous and irregular. This piece of our heritage has been built centuries ago, it’s impossible to adapt the village.
